This was a huge question for me
I was determined about one thing…
If I had to give up coffee I was not going to do it!
Any Of It!
My coffee was 2 spoons off instant with 2 spoons of sugar ( down from 4 for many years)
75% hot water 25% Full Fat Milk…
One or even 2 of those a day would have been ok in smallish cups
BUT I was doing 3 or 4 PINT mugs everyday… more if I was at home
The thought of giving that up was an awful.
I tried going straight from that to a thimble of blackcurrant tea!
I truly understood that I needed to change, so I managed that change slowly
I gradually modified the ingredients from semi skimmed milk down to 0% Fat
From 4 pints a day to 2 down to one in several smaller mugs
Sugar has been replaced with sweetex and now even that has gone.
I still cannot stand Black coffee and refuse point blank to do Green Tea
That is me … I am sure you will be different… we all are .
Just find what you like ( or at best at this stage can simply stand or put up with )
Soft Drinks and The Essential Water
I drink a lot of the cheap Tesco sparkling water.
Sorry I know it seems a big bill to essentially drink posh tap water.
But I find tap water so deadly dull.
And as a beer replacement frankly disappointing.
But with the bubbles and the now reduced amount of Vimto…
I can say hand on heart that I actually enjoy it
But What About You ?
Well What do you normally Drink?
Is it that healthy?
Honestly is It?
We got to be as big as were by lying to ourselves right…
So You want to get your body back?
So lets be honest…
Nothing is BAD in moderation…
But you are never going to get rid of excess weight while still drinking 5 pints of Guinness every night!
So now is truth time
Can you modify your drinking to help with your weight loss?
I have every confidence that you will make the right choices …
But again if you slip up or regress PLEASE … do not chuck it all away
Just draw ANOTHER line in the sand and simply start again …
